Mobilizing for deployment

As is customary, plans changed. Everything slipped to the right for a few months, but that allowed me to spend the summer with my family! Now, however, everything is set in motion.

After Labor Day I will begin training for the upcoming deployment. I will spend the first few weeks at Ft. Campbell for air assault and then return to my unit for final packing, paperwork, and prep work. Shortly thereafter (early October) I will begin the adventure.
